The tragedy of the war in Ukraine is slipping out of sight, out of mind and toward the cliff of zero US funding. For the people of Mariupol and all those who have lived under brutal russian occupation for the last 22 months, the nightmare has never ended. No one in Ukraine ever asked me for a thing. They just asked not to be forgotten. It's the least we can do.
